I thought I'd seen this before, but maybe I am dreaming.

I would like to be able to do a search and replace on the information in the Source Details of a citation. I want to change certain information, and don't want to do it one person/one fact/one source at a time. As MOST of my source citations are the free form they sould all be in what is labeled as 'page number'.

RM5 does not support search and replace on citations. A workaround would be to export your database to GEDCOM and use a regular expression text editor to do the s&r on it, then import the revised GEDCOM into a new database. You run some risk of data loss going via GEDCOM, such as extra white space you may have added at the end of notes and truncation of fact descriptions at 100 characters. Otherwise, you're into SQLite and high level programming.
