Why isn't there a Help function on every screen?

For example, when you bring uop the edit screen for an individual, there is no help function available. You have to leave the edit page and go back to the main listing to get to the help function.

Won't [ F1 ] bring up the help window on your computer?

It doesn't seem to call up a relevant area of the help facility though.

It does on my system. The Help Screen comes up for whatever Window has the Focus, ie., Master Source List > Sources, Edit Individual > Edit Individual, etc.

The F1 key is supposed to bring up context-sensitive help. Occasionally, something may not seem to be linked to the proper help topic, in which case it should be reported.

OK, My quick judgement was in error.

The last time I used Help I had used the Help Index.
So, when I went to the Edit person Window and pressed the F1 key for Help the Index showed "Accessing Family Search Central" which is the first item in the index. I didn't even notice that the right window pane did displayed the "Editing an Individual" page. The index just didn't keep up.

My BAD! :o
