Currently you can only search and replace in one field at a time and each time you have to start over from the beginning.

It would be faster and more friendly if after one search was completed, the search and replace window would stay open and let you select another field to make the same search.

Another improvement would be to let you select multiple fields to search all at one time.

There are probably just as many users that would be annoyed with the Search & Replace window not closing after completing a search. You can use Ctrl-H to quickly bring the window back up.

Confirming enhancement request for multiple field searches is in our tracking system.

Ctrl-H will bring the window back up, but you still have to start over again filling in the search and replace items as well as selecting the field to search.

If the window stayed open, you would only have to change the search field to search and replace the same items in another field.

Ctrl-H doesn't help you do this, it just brings up a new search and replace window.

The ability to store a search or search and replace query for later recall is also on the wish list and would be much appreciated. I agree that it would be desirable to return directly to the query definition from the results page to be able to refine the query and then save it if it is one you may want to re-use or revise later.

This one probably won't be happening anytime soon .... it has only been on the wish list for at least ten years. On the other hand, wish for something related to FamilySearch and you'll probably get it tomorrow.
