I just watched Webinar 32 about the Research Log feature and an inconsistency in the mini-database used for the presentation raised a question.

I noticed that the Research Log for Howard Smith, Jr was attached to Howard Smith, Sr (his dad). Having found such an error in one's database, what would be the procedure to move the log from Senior to Junior?

Would it take a flurry of: (select, copy, close, open, paste, close, open, repeat) for every field in each goal? Or is there a faster way to accomplish this (e.g., Export GEDCOM, Text editor, Import GEDCOM)?

Actually, I hope that a built in feature of RM would accomplish this.

Go to Lists>Research Manager and select the Research Log you wish to edit. Click the "Edit Research Log" button. Under "Who or what is this log for" the drop down should display "Person". Next to it is the Person field, on the far right click on the drop down arrow and then select the person you wish to assign the log to. Hit "Select" and then "OK".
