Can i make a FGS interactive? By that I mean if I send one out electronically and someone responds electronically with additions/changes, can I import the data back into my Database and update the database. If the data is bogus I can always go back and correct it in the database. But - come on - how many relatives send bogus data?

I wonder if a PDF form could be used for this purpose? And why not the same for Individual Summary? Could be an alternative to GEDCOM for small numbers of persons and families.

Here is a link to Saveable, Fillable PDFs for genealogy: https://tech.lds.org...ull=1#post42505
Also, the FGS is available here, without need for registration: http://www.google.ca...twCCCsvOzTsNeFQ
There appear to be many variants of the FGS available from many sources.
There is an extension to TNG that provides an online form to add families to its database: http://www.tng.lythg...Group_Worksheet There might be a way of working between TNG and RM through which you could update RM from a TNG additions database and keep the TNG database copy of the RM master updated.
