Request Timeout when Downloading Update

When attempting to download RM5 update, either through program, I repeatedly get a popup with "Request Timeout" error. When I attempt to download via rootsmagic.com, the download stalls at about 18.8 MB. Any workaround?

Try savint the update from the web site to your hard drive and installing it from the saved file. Have RM closed when you install it.

Yes, that worked, though it stalled when I tried it yesterday. Perhaps server was just busy.

"Don't quote me," -_- but I usually get a choice of saving or installing; so I save. Then:
1. Close all windows.
2. Begin or continue installation.
3. Restart ("warm start") computer
Computer activates the new information.
I'll just have to wait till the next update to see if these three steps "belong to" RM or to Microsoft.
