I had been working hard on publishing a family history, using RM4 and the Publisher. I went away, closed down my Mac and today, when I logged in, I could only find RMEssentials, not my full RM4 database and, of course, Essentials doesn't give me access to the Publisher. (I use Parallels and Windows 7 with my Mac...)

I don't know what I've done. The only thing weird that happened was that somehow an "alias Windows 7" showed up, and now I have "windows 7 new."

I DID back up my RM4 database, but can't seem to open it.

I'm frantic, which doesn't help. Years of work....but I did back up what I did, last on July 4th, again, just can't figure out where to find and open it....

Any thanks of a huge help!!!

You should be able to restore Essentials to the full version by re-entering your product key. Where your database might be is beyond me.

Go to Files>Search for Files to locate your database.
