I have not upgraded so I am wondering if we have seen the last version update of RM4, it is no secret that many bugs remain and it seems some have been carried into RM5.

YES, I've already seen Bruce state that all updates will be to RM5.

Only lesson is not to buy another car from him

Sure he did ... fixed it up, gave it a new name, and now wants you to pay for it again!

I am not real sure the question was fully answered for me.

The question of continued "updates to RM4" is really twofold:
A. Will further "updates" be made to RM4?
I think the answer is NO.
B. Will "bugs" in RM4 be fixed?
The answer is unclear to me.

I find it difficult to believe the answer to question B is/should be NO.
If it is then perhaps "upgrade" to RM5 should be free to current users of RM5.
(There isn't a lot of difference between $19.95 plus shipping and the price of x)

As the case with previous RM releases, only the most current one will receive updates (bug fixes/enhancements). All previous ones are still supported, of course.

The only free upgrades have been for those people who purchased the previous release within a short time period before the current one.

As RM5 seems to have taken a new direction, I will not use it until/unless certain "new" things are changed. A lot of bells and whistles were added but long-needed fixes and needed improvements have been ignored. This is too bad as RM4 had so many things going for it. It would be nice if RM4 was still supported/updated but I rather doubt it.
