Note that the author emphasizes that the purpose of citations is not only to locate sources, but also to communicate strength of those sources.

Typically MLA...it's the first on the list. :-)

MLA site is http://www.noodletools.com/login.php is The MLA Bibliography Composer - automatically formats and creates proper bibliographic citations from your input. Has a signin but can keep your source list if you so want.
